  Dear Sirs/Madam!

           In September 2007 in Dnepropetrovsk and in June 2008 in Kyiv two international conferences "Current trends of welded and seamless pipes production from ferrous and non-ferrous metal" and "Modern trends of welded and seamless pipes production: technology and equipment" were held.
           Discussions, which were organized in the frames of the above mentioned conferences revealed a range of vexed problems present in the pipe sub-industry. Pipe and other metal products corrosion protection issues took a special place.
            In connection with this, the organizers of the previous conferences, the "Ukrtruboprom" Association, the coating, alloys and metal protection department of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, Scientific-Research center “Quality”, (Corporation "Interpipe") and State Tube Institute have made a decision to carry out the International Forum «АNTICOR UKRAINE 2010”: “Pressing challenges and state-of-the-art methods of anticorrosion protection of tubes & pipes, sheet metal, wire and other metal goods”, 2 June 2010 in Kyiv in the frames of exhibitions «Kyiv Technical Trade Show» that are planned to be held 1-3 June 2010 at the exhibition center «KyivExpoPlaza».
           Taking into account the variety of provided for discussion issues we invite all the specialists working in the field of metal corrosion protection, development of protection coatings, equipment production to express thoughts and wishes as for the academic and research ideology and directions of seminars’ work in the frames of the Forum.
